Deez_Nuts

The term Deez_Nuts originally appeared as the title of a skit on the 1992 studio album The_Chronic, produced by the influential hip hop artist Dr._Dre. The phrase was used as a punchline in a joke format that would later become a cornerstone of Internet_Meme culture. The setup typically involves a speaker asking a leading question, to which the response is the titular phrase.

In 2015, the meme experienced a massive revival due to a viral video uploaded by WelvenDaGreat. His enthusiastic delivery of the joke led to widespread adoption across social media platforms like Vine and Twitter. According to documentation by Know Your Meme, the phrase became one of the most searched terms of the year.

During the 2016_United_States_presidential_election, Brady_C._Olson, a fifteen-year-old from Iowa, filed a statement of candidacy with the Federal_Election_Commission under the name Deez_Nuts. Running as an independent, the satirical candidate gained national attention when a Public_Policy_Polling survey showed him receiving 9% support in North_Carolina. This political stunt was widely covered by outlets such as The Guardian, highlighting public dissatisfaction with mainstream political figures.
