Kibana

Kibana is a sophisticated data visualization and exploration tool specifically designed to work with Elasticsearch. As a central part of the Elastic-Stack, it provides a user interface for indexing, searching, and visualizing complex data sets. The project was originally created by Rashid-Khan and has since evolved into a comprehensive platform for Operational-Intelligence. According to the official Elastic documentation, it allows users to create dynamic dashboards that update in real-time as new data is ingested.

Beyond simple charting, Kibana offers advanced capabilities such as Kibana-Lens for intuitive, drag-and-drop data modeling and Canvas for creating live, pixel-perfect infographic presentations. It also serves as the management hub for the entire Elastic-Stack, enabling users to configure Role-Based-Access-Control and monitor the health of Elasticsearch nodes. Developers and contributors actively maintain the project through the Kibana GitHub repository. Organizations globally utilize Kibana for Log-Management, Application-Performance-Monitoring, and Security-Information-and-Event-Management.
